Because of YOU, we’ve been able to LevelUP our students, teachers, and classrooms!

Public education is the backbone of a strong community. The students of today become the teachers, leaders, and workers of tomorrow. In partnership with the Upper Perkiomen School District, and through the generosity of supporters, UPEF enables innovative programs and initiatives that enrich student experiences and help prepare students to succeed. Read on for an overview of our current programs.

Classroom Grants

UPEF Teacher & Classroom Grants ignite innovation and elevate learning by awarding small grants to passionate educators who are shaping the future—one student at a time. This initiative supports teachers in enhancing instruction and educational experiences for students in their classrooms. Classroom grants are used to fund tools and resources supporting key areas such as literacy, STEM, life skills, career readiness and workforce development.

Signature Programs

UPEF’s signature programs aim to impact many students throughout the district. Current featured programs include the literacy program One School, One Book, and a mobile science program (new in the 2025-2026 academic year) that aims to extend classroom learning, energize students, and inspire interest in scientific disciplines – without leaving campus.

EITC Funded Programs

Upper Perkiomen Education Foundation is approved by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) to receive funding through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. This funding supports several approved programs covering hydroponics, an audio visual and tv studio program, and an artist-in-residence program.

Scholarships

Scholarships are a great way to recognize student achievement and support students as they embark on their “next chapter” following graduation from Upper Perkiomen High School. UPEF currently administers two scholarships in recognition of students’ academic and athletic achievement.
